Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor and general maintenance tasks.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Maintain curb appeal by keeping building grounds and common areas free of debris.
  2. Respond quickly and courteously to requested service orders. Provide detailed, professional, and accurate notes on work orders.
  3. Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner; maintain truck stock at all times.
  4. Escort various inspectors, contractors, and others as directed.
  5. Perform general clean-up around job sites.
  6. Assist with maintenance-related projects as necessary.
  7. Provide accurate and timely recordkeeping of expenses.
  8. Provide additional support to operations department as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent.
  2. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to instructions.
  3. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
  4. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written or verbal instructions.
  5. Must have valid driver license. Company vehicle will be provided.
  6. Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
  7. Perform all job duties with a positive attitude.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employee will be regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. Employee will be frequently required to reach with hands or arms. Employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs, and occasionally up to 100lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions, and occasionally be near moving mechanical parts and work in high areas. Safety best practice is to be executed. Noise level will be moderate to loud.
