Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dynamic, Board-Certified Child Neurologist to lead our Child Neurology Residency Program at the prestigious Jersey Shore University Medical Center/K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital in Neptune, New Jersey.

Qualifications:

To be appointed as a Child Neurology Residency Program Director, a candidate must meet a rigorous set of criteria established by accrediting bodies and possess the leadership qualities necessary to manage a complex graduate medical education program. The following is a consolidated list of these requirements.

  • Medical Degree: Must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.

  • Postgraduate Training: Successful completion of a Child Neurology fellowship program is required.

  • Specialty Certification: Must be certified in Child Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry .

  • Medical Licensure: Must have or be eligible to obtain a New Jersey Medical License.

  • GME Experience: Requires a minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in an accredited graduate medical education (GME) program.
