We are hiring an Entry-Level Community Relations Assistant to join our growing community outreach, event marketing, and public relations team . This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who want to build professional experience in community engagement, customer service, event coordination, communications, marketing, and nonprofit or community outreach .

No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on mentorship, professional development, and opportunities for career advancement.

As a Community Relations Assistant, you will support local outreach campaigns, community events, promotional initiatives, and public engagement programs. You will interact directly with community members, represent our organization at events, and help create positive experiences that strengthen community relationships and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating community outreach events, promotional campaigns, and local initiatives
• Represent the organization at community events, retail promotions, fundraising activities, and public engagement programs
• Engage directly with community members to provide information about programs, services, and upcoming events
• Support event setup, registration, logistics, scheduling, and on-site coordination
• Distribute promotional materials and communicate key program or event information to attendees
• Answer questions and provide professional customer service during community outreach activities
• Build positive relationships with community members, event attendees, and partner organizations
• Work collaboratively with marketing, outreach, and internal teams to support successful events and campaigns
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, event participation, and community feedback
• Assist with increasing brand awareness, community engagement, and public visibility
• Support additional administrative and event-related responsibilities as needed

• Comfortable speaking with and assisting members of the public
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-based environment
• Interest in community outreach, public relations, communications, marketing, event planning, or customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, volunteering, events, sales, communications, or community outreach is helpful but not required
