Job Description

Chesterton Academy - Queen of Martyrs, a joyfully Catholic, classical high school outside of Madison, WI, seeks a talented and dynamic Part Time Science teacher to join our team starting in the 2026-27 academic year. This position can also be divided into two separate, very part-time teaching positions. Candidates may apply to teach just one of the following courses if they are interested in a limited teaching commitment: Astronomy - 4 classes per week Chemistry - 5 classes per week This flexibility makes the position an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a very part-time teaching position or who has particular expertise in one area of science. Required Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Christian
• A commitment to foster the spiritual and intellectual formation of young men and women in a vibrant, faith-filled academic community.
• Bachelor's degree in Science-related fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Roman Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
• Graduate degree and/or professional experience in science-related fields.
• Prior teaching experience (especially in a Classical school environment).
