TEchM -Job Title: Penetration Tester/Red Team

Location: Plano, TX

Years of Experience: 7-10 Years --- $60/hr CTC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Tester/Red Team member with a strong background in security assessments and a deep understanding of Playwright. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying vulnerabilities, conducting penetration tests, and simulating real world attacks to enhance our security posture. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the security of our applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications, APIs, and network infrastructures.
• Utilize Playwright to automate testing processes and enhance testing efficiency.
• Identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities and risks to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement effective testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Participate in red team exercises and contribute to threat modeling activities.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on security best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or in a similar role within a Red Team environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
• Expertise in web application security, network security, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten and other security frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Preferred Skills:
• Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud security and securing cloud based applications.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in penetration testing or cybersecurity roles.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
