Salary: $130,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We require strong programming expertise in Java, Python, and React JS.
• We value experience with AWS public cloud technologies and Terraform.
• We need proficiency with database technologies such as RDS Oracle and RDS SQL Server, along with strong SQL querying skills.
• We look for advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep expertise in one or more technical areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• We expect the ability to solve design and functionality issues independently with minimal oversight.
• We need exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills across full-stack applications, plus a strong passion for coding and technology.
• We look for the ability to perform effectively in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment, with curiosity, diligence, attention to detail, and motivation to tackle complex problems.
• We need flexibility to contribute across technical business analysis, development, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
• We prefer experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• We prefer experience in hedge fund, asset management, or investment banking.
• We prefer familiarity with Snowflake, Arcesium, Eze, and Bloomberg.

• We work directly with business users to gather and refine requirements.
• We design, implement, and support critical financial applications using Java and Python.
• We quickly understand and support existing services and codebases.
• We quickly learn and support the AWS cloud infrastructure platform used by our firm.
• We build a strong understanding of existing data models.
• We collaborate with third-party vendor systems for integration, upgrades, and ongoing issue resolution.
• We operate in a fast-paced, test-driven, agile development environment.
• We provide technical guidance and direction to business partners, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• We drive decisions that shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• We contribute actively to the engineering community by advocating firmwide frameworks, tools, and software development lifecycle practices.
