Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Test Engineer  on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

The Work: 

• Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. 
• We need an Engineer who can build out the framework and integrate testing. 

Responsibilities: 

• Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
• Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. 
• Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.  
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Works well independently as well as on a team. 
• Strong communication skills. 

Desired Skills (2 of the below):

• Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
• S/W: Java, Javascript, Python, Ansible
• Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Gitlab, Jira

Location:  Annapolis Junction, MD / Partial Telework (2-3 days per week expected)

Salary Range:  The salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $230,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred position during the hiring process. SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE.
